The English have been at war with the French for 7 years, our characters have moved on from the events that plagued their lives in previous episodes as the series moves into its third and final act. We see Ralph become a great war tactician; we finally get to spend some quality time with the King; Merthin has come into his own as a master builder, and the world experiences its first taste of a mysterious new disease with no cure or treatment.
